Mikasa Beauty Brushes Review
I was contacted by Mikasa a couple weeks ago asking if I would like to try out their products, and I said absolutely, they sent me a 40% off code to use on any on the site, so everything in this review I bought with my own money they only gave me a discount code to use. So I got 7 brushes, a makeup setting spray, and eyeshadow duo and they sent me their sponge for free.I bought 3 brushes individually and 4 came in a set.
The set I got was their 4 piece Eye Essentials Set which is $42 ($47 value) so you save $5 and it comes with their:
E100 - Angled Liner Brush
E230 - Eye Shader Brush
E300 - Blending Brush
And their E310 - Pencil Brush
Individual brushes I got are the:
E320 - Tapered Blending Brush ($12)
E240 - Short Eye Shader Brush($12)
And their Techni O6 Oval (M) Brush ($35)
I used all of these brushes today for the first time, and they are all very soft and makes blending a lot easier. It was my first time using a face brush like this, and I think it's a good dupe for the Artis Brushes, its much smaller than Artis one which I like and its much cheaper. Overall I highly recommend these brushes.
The sponge is super soft, not quite sure if that is a good thing or bad thing yet, I only used it on half of my face today so I'm not quite sure how it performs all over the face but it seems to have worked well.
S100 - Lemon Drop ($11)
Bodyography Makeup Setting Spray: $22
I've only used this once so I don't really have an opinion yet, but it smells nice and it has a nice fine mist
Bodyography Duo Expressions Eye Shadow - Copper Mist ($18)
I haven't used this yet but the pigmentation is very nice and the shadows feel smooth.
Overall I really like the brushes, I have signed up to be an affiliate so I will be getting a discount code for people soon. But these brushes are very soft and make blending a lot easier.
Until Next Time
XOXO
Jacky
